A few brief notes from the Finance front this week:
·The African Festival is right around the corner, on September 16th. It begins with a 4:00pm Mass at the Cathedral, followed by festivities at the Guild Hall at 5:30pm. The African Festival features a variety of music, dancing, and foods from many African countries, including Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Cameroon, Sudan, and Angola. The proceeds will benefit the benevolent efforts of Sacred Heart/St. Dominic Parish. Feel free to call me for more information, tickets, etc. ·The Latino Food Festival will take place the following week, September 23rd. I’ll have similar details available for you soon. ·Look for an update and general information here in the very near future about Planned Giving, which provides an array of additional (and meaningful) ways in which you can support and partner with your parish. As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
Many thanks. Have a blessed week. Yours in service,
