Faith formation for children and youth is a time to communicate Christ, instill the love of God, and pass on the richness of the Catholic faith. For some age groups, it is also a time to prepare for the sacraments. The Portland Catholic Center for Faith offers a comprehensive faith formation program for K-12. Families have the option to select Sundays from 11 am - 12:30 pm OR Wednesdays from 3 pm - 5 pm. Both of these parallel tracks offer a vibrant immersion into the Catholic faith. What makes this effort unique?
A robust and faithful presentation of Catholic prayer, tradition, and teaching led by clergy, parish staff, and trained catechists.
A dynamic and comprehensive approach to faith formation that includes recreation, community building, prayer, and instruction in large and small group formats.
Flexible drop off and pick up times and transportation options to ease the challenge of scheduling on busy families.
Monthly family dinner nights that bring the community together for a meal, presentations for parents and activities for children.
