Lessons and Carols is a well-loved holiday tradition.  Salvation history, and in a special way the birth of the Savior, is recounted in nine readings, or lessons, from the Bible.  These readings are interspersed with carols and choral music.  The Cathedral Choir and Scholas are very excited to present a Festival of Lessons and Carols on Friday, December 13, at 7pm at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Bishop James Ruggieri presiding.
