The purpose of the Social Justice & Peace Commission is to educate our parish on and put into practice the teachings of the Catholic Church on social justice issues, particularly as they may impact on our own parishioners, on our community and on the world at large. These include the ever-present needs of the poor, the oppressed and the imprisoned, those whom Our Lord reached out to Himself and whom he asks us to serve in His stead for the Greater Glory of God here on earth.
We are always looking for new members and those who can contribute in some way. If you would like more information about the Social Justice & Peace Commission or the Haiti Project, please contact the Pastoral Center.
