The St. Margaret Ministry
- A new effort of the Portland Peninsula and Island parishes seeks to help children with special needs and their families participate in the Mass and connect with one another. The ministry will involve a monthly Mass beginning September 2025. The date of the first Mass will be announced in the coming weeks. The Mass will take place in the Cathedral Chapel at 2pm, followed by fellowship in the Guild Hall. The ministry is named after Saint Margaret of Castello, an Italian Catholic educator and third order Dominican who was born blind and with other disabilities.
